District Youth Exchange Policy

In order to safeguard both the students it selects to send overseas and the students it hosts from other parts of the world, Rotary District 1060 has adopted a Student Protection Policy that is fully documented in the material available for download from this page. Note that this Policy is more stringent than the RIBI Protection Policy and is very specific to the requirements of the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme.

It is crucial that all aspects of the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme being undertaken by Rotarians and Clubs within District 1060 comply with this Policy as this allows us to maintain our status as a Certified District within the requirements of the Rotary International Certification for its Youth Exchange Programme.
