Camps & Tours run by District 1060

For several years, the Youth Exchange team in District 1060 have been running trips for their Long Term Youth Exchange students and Ambassadorial Scholars. These have largely been based around properties owned by the Landmark Trust, which is a charity that rescues historic buildings and then makes them available for self-catering holidays. Staying in accommodation that has an interesting history gives the trips a special touch and the self-catering aspect keeps the cost down too!

The trips have now settled into a pattern of around three major ones a year, generally either early December or early January, the week prior to Easter, and the last week in May - with the last of these being the largest.

Places are limited on these trips, but if you would like to know more about any similar events in the future, please use our contact form to send an email to us. For an alternative based around our RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) Programme - including an option for UK residents, please visit our other site http://youthweek.co.uk.

If you are resident in the UK and would like to know about opportunities like these that may be available to you in other parts of the world, just visit the Camps & Tours page on the website for Youth Exchange in Great Britain & Ireland.
